UK Racing Tips

Thirsk

1-1 Cardiff ran well on debut and with natural improvement, she should be hard to beat.

2-8 The Armed Man is an inconsistent horse but course stats are in his favour.

3-3 (Won@1.57) Tricorn succeeded as a favourite in his latest runs and I don't see any contender beating him.

4-11 (Won@3.25) Noble Patron is a talented young gelding with a great racing future ahead of him and he should give a tough fight to the favourite.

5-6 Midnight Bride has been a consistent type and the odds are pretty decent to wager.

6-1 (Placed@2.00) Seas of Elzaam has a penalty to carry after winning in his last outing and has a great chance to win again in this mediocre set.

7-2 (Withdrawn) Asjad ran a cracker of a race on his debut and looks to be the one they all have to catch.

8-2 Van Gerwen won by a neck in his latest outing and trading at decent odds once again. He is a value pick at this odds.

Royal Ascot

1-6 (Won@1.28)  Palace Pier is a strong favourite in this race who won recently and another advantage is the fantastic horse and jockey combination. Should be tough to beat.

2-6 Ebro River has been winning well but has to improve a bit to be competitive in this set.

3-2 Battaash is resuming today after a layoff and is expected to continue his winning streak.

4-11  (Won@4.50) Poetic Flare ran well to finish second in the Irish 2000 Guineas grade 1 and I personally have a soft spot for Irish horses running in the UK.

5-1 Cape Gentleman is resuming after a short layoff and making his course debut. He is an interesting contender to wager on at decent odds.

6-4 (Placed@1.80)  Solid Stone has a decent course record and I feel he has been well prepared for this event today. The jockey booking of Ryan Moore is an added advantage.

7-12 (Placed@1.80)  Global Storm should run well at decent odds based on his recent form. I'm hoping that he wins the concluding race of the day in style.

Note:- Selected picks for Australian races will be posted from tomorrow. Good luck and happy wagering.
